Welcome to Der Fels, Alexander Suite! The Alexander is a studio-size space, with a tranquil, electric fireplace, and an inviting courtyard and hot tub, that’s located in the “heart” of Fredericksburg's famous 290 Winery Corridor! Fredericksburg is widely regarded as one of the top ten winery destinations in the world, and there is no better point for exploring all of them than while staying at the cottages of Der Fels!

The Alexander is a suite in the heart of wine country and is close to the famous Wildseed Farms, and wineries such as Messina Hof, Mendelbaum, and Grape Creek. It’s even close to Luckenbach!

This limestone cottage with all the comforts of home, is a charming suite and offers everything today's traveler wants, in a private setting. Enjoy the private hot tub to yourselves in a fully fenced courtyard. Or, step back inside to enjoy the large whirlpool tub or rain-head shower in the bath! Additionally, the Alexander Suite is outfitted with a king-size bed dressed in beautiful linens, and a spacious sitting area to set the mood! Make the Alexander your own private outpost in the Hill Country, and we’ll see y’all again soon!

This unit is not equipped with a kitchen. Please plan accordingly.

Great news for pet lovers! This property is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, including your four-legged family member. To ensure a paw-sitive experience please be aware of the following:

Pet fees & rules:
We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.
-Pet fee(s) of $75+tax will apply in addition to the nightly rate.
-This unit will allow one pet that is 20 lbs or under.
-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.
-A separate pet waiver must be signed.
-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.

Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Happy Guest is web-based and user-friendly, with all the info about the house and local spots. Beautiful room! Had issues with TV didn’t know we had to have our own Roku acct. Pictures of remote didn’t match the ones in room. So no TV during our stay. Staff tried to assist remotely with text instructions but nothing worked. Bed was very comfortable. Will be better prepared next time. Overall wonderful stay.

The place was great and the locationworked great for us. We were super close to Grape Creek Vinyard that we toured and it was very quiet and private. The fridge is even big enough tokeep an open bottle of wine on the door after having a glass at night.

THE BEST LOCATION IN FREDERICKSBURG! We chose this AirBNB for the location and I can’t say enough about it! This place is EXACTLY as described in the listing. It’s spacious, super clean, stocked with all you need for a couple to stay comfortably! The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, plenty of towels and nice touches like coffee and creamer! They have a mini split that keeps the place feeling great when it’s hot out! We were about 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, 10 minutes to Luckenbach, and tons of other wineries nearby, within minutes. This is an extremely private place, there are 4 of these together but not at any point in time wld we have known anyone else was there, other than seeing a vehicle or two. The only thing u won’t have here is a nice view but privacy was what my husband and I were looking for, so we knew this going into this rental. I can’t say enough good things about it, and we will book this anytime we go to Fredericksburg.

Such a cute cottage located away from others yet close to the main st.
It was the perfect romantic getaway for our honeymoon. Communication with Cozi was professional and amazing. We had some minor issues in our cottage but their responded right away and provided us with assistance. They made sure we were enjoying our stay and had all we needed. If you are new to the Texas Hill Country and looking for a romantic and private getaway, this stay is an amazing choice.
3 minutes away from a Gas Station, 7 minutes from Walmart and 10-ish minutes from Main St. Easy Check-In, place super clean and its easy to go in and out of Fredericksburg downtown. Super close to beautiful wineries and breweries, definitely stop by for some peaches!

My husband and I enjoyed the jacuzzi and coffee in the mornings. Would recommend to bring plates and cutlery in case you might need to eat in, but the place offers everything else! Definitely coming back.
