Welcome to Mesquite Cabin! This quaint cabin tucked away in the Texas Hill Country sits on five acres with miles of spectacular views. Enchanted Rock Natural State Area is only a few miles down the road, and Fredericksburg is a short twenty-minute drive away. This cabin is set up as a duplex sharing a wall with Cedar cabin and would make the perfect place for two couples traveling together.

This charming cabin has a studio-style layout featuring a king-size bed, cozy sofa, and a small kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot. You will find a spacious walk-in shower and rustic vanity in the bathroom to make getting ready for your day a breeze.

Enjoy the beauty of nature and the abundant wildlife while taking in the sunrise or sunset from the rocking chairs on the porch, and you can watch the stars at night in the relaxing hot tub. You can also access a fire pit shared with Cedar Cabin, so grab the marshmallows and make some new friends.

Please Note: There are three cabins on this five-acre property:
Rocky Ridge Cabin, Mesquite and Cedar (duplex with a shared wall), although they share a wall, each cabin has its own hot tub.

-Mesquite cabin does have WIFI; however it may be spotty at times.

*Wood for firepit is not provided.

- You may notice a sulfur-like odor at times due to the property's septic system.

Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Happy Guest is web-based and user-friendly, with all the info about the house and local spots. Nice isolated location with a decent view. Grill would not ignite. Cabin is attached to another.

We stayed at the mesquite cabin to see the Perseid meteor shower. The cabin was exactly what we needed. It is very secluded, yet still close enough to go into town for meals. The skies were incredibly dark and we were able to see dozens of meteors. The AC kept the cabin sufficiently cool and the jacuzzi was nice and hot. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was clean. I enjoyed seeing cows in the yard and we spotted deer as We weren't lucky enough to not hear our neighbors but it would not prevent us from staying again. ?

It was really nice being out away from everything. It’s a cozy little cabin facing the hills. The hot tub was nice just looking the stars while relaxing. It was a perfect little getaway spot. We really enjoyed it!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our mini anniversary getaway. It was cozy and private. Due to the location, there was very limited internet/cell service but that really did not bother us at all. (I would recommend to maybe bring a couple of DVDs if you would like a little extra entertainment.) The cabin was very clean and despite being small was very spacious. It does have a cabin next door to it, but we honestly couldn’t tell someone was staying there. Both nights we had a few deer waiting for us as we arrived and the hot tub was so relaxing. The location was perfect as we wanted to be close to Fredericksburg and to Enchanted Rock. it is a drive to the nearest store though so make sure you bring snacks and/or drinks with you. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that I wish there was a full length mirror in the spacious bathroom for getting ready. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

My girlfriend and I wanted to get away from the world for a few days and boy this was just the perfect place. It was very private and the hot tub made it very worth it. We are “winos” lol so this was an extremely good vacation. Would definitely recommend!
