The first living area is a haven of comfort, complete with plush seating arrangements that include a queen sleeper sofa, ensuring that every guest has their own space to relax and rejuvenate. The second living area seamlessly blends into the kitchen and dining areas, creating an open and inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings and quality time.
The kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream come true. Equipped with stainless steel appliances that gleam under the light, it offers ample counter space for meal preparation and culinary creativity. Whether you're whipping up a gourmet feast or preparing simple yet delightful dishes, this kitchen is your sanctuary of flavor.
The master bedroom is a luxurious haven of tranquility, featuring a lavish king bed adorned with premium linens. The spaciousness of the room ensures your comfort, while the well-appointed en-suite bathroom provides convenience and privacy. The second bedroom echoes the same opulence, offering another king bed that promises restful nights. The third bedroom exudes charm and comfort with a cozy queen bed, providing a serene space to unwind.

A BBQ station stands ready to elevate your outdoor dining experience, allowing you to grill up delectable meals while relishing the company of your companions. The aroma of sizzling delights mingles with the crisp outdoor air, creating an ambiance that is both enticing and soothing. Hochland Haus is your home away from home with close proximity to Luckenbach, charming Downtown Sisterdale, Texas wineries and other Hill Country favorites. *Please note, the barn on-site is not available for guest use.

Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $62.54 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Happy Guest is web-based and user-friendly, with all the info about the house and local spots. Perfect home to stargaze and disconnect from the hectic city life. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Beautiful view from the porch and around the firepit. We got to see the comet, which was extremely exciting! Highly recommend if you are trying to find a place to recharge.

Enjoyed our stay here. This place was very private, located on a small, quite, rural road. Beautiful views from the backyard of the mountains and lots of deer running around. You are only about a 20 minute drive from Fredericksburg and the drive is nice through rural farms. The only thing that I would suggest is that the kitchen supplies (frying pan, bowls, plates, baking pans, be updated to new items), they current items have seen better days. Also, the AC vents all looked very dusty and looked as though they could use a good cleaning. Other than those things, it's a great stay and would recommend staying here.

This Airbnb was an ideal home base for our extended family's long weekend in the Texas Hill Country. Its location, nestled between Fredericksburg and Boerne, offered the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The privacy and sweeping views of the hills were truly breathtaking, and we loved watching the spectacular sunsets from the porch each evening. The house itself comfortably accommodated our group of four adults and four kids. It was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary snacks for the kids. While the kitchen was generally well-equipped, having a few more essentials like ladles and ziplock bags would have made meal prep even easier.
