Welcome to the White Velvet Farm Haus! This gorgeous upscale, luxurious home is located one block from Main Street Fredericksburg. The home has been custom designed to host families, couples, and friend getaways. Enjoy the open layout and fantastic dining and kitchen areas this gorgeous has to offer. You will enjoy the incredible outdoor amenities, from relaxing in the hot tub to sipping wine around the fire pit!

This gorgeous home consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The spacious bedrooms offer the latest mattresses and bedding offering an optimally comfortable and luxurious night's sleep especially after the long days of enjoying downtown Fredericksburg and the local wineries. It's the perfect place for your guests to relax and unwind. Our open-spaced kitchen comes fully stocked with plate ware, flatware, serving platters, glassware including wine glasses galore, and other little necessities for those wishing to dine in.

Lovely home in a great location. Host was wonderful to communicate with. Very quiet street with limited traffic. Lots of deer sightings at night. Perfect for a girls trip for 3! 2 of the rooms connect & share a bathroom, so just keep in mind you’ll have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get the shared bathroom or just use the one on the other side of the house. The other room is off to the side and more secluded. It was very easy to park and get inside. We felt very safe. Close enough to walk into town, but without sidewalks and street lighting, we opted for Ubers at night which were very easy to get. Fantastic food & service everywhere we went!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely styled and clean! We were in walking distance to main st, giving us easy access to stores and restaurants. The layout of the house is a little funky and you have to go through one bedroom to get to one of the bathrooms, but no big deal if your comfortable with who you are staying with!

Amenities were as described, easily fit 6 people in 3 king beds with very spacious rooms. The house is walkable to Fredricksburg Main street and very easy to navigate your way around. Entering and exiting the property in vehicles is also easy via the semi-circular driveway. Even had some amenities not listed like a blow dryer in the bathroom and extra towels! The hot tub was relatively simple to turn on, but it was not clear how to sanitize or clean it out and no printed instruction or instructions sent on that one detail. Also, while we were having a firepit fire, the fire department drove by and instructed that the bowl should have a cover, which we could not find. Very comfortable weekend at this house - will definitely do this again!!!

This is the sweetest little house- beautifully decorated and just one block from Main Street. I loved the kitchen and living area, and the front porch was my favorite spot for coffee in the morning! The house is so lovely- looks like a magazine house! Safe and easy to walk to Main Street for shopping and meals. Also near schools and enjoyed seeing the kids out and about and all the Christmas lights in the neighborhood made me feel right at home.

What a great and comfortable place in a great location! Very clean, modernized old house with great kitchen, visiting/TV area, good beds and AC. Easy walk into town for eating and shopping. Would definitely stay there again. We had 3 couples and we all loved it.
Communication with owner and check in (push code lock) were great.
Only thing I might mention is one of the bedrooms is not closely connected with a bathroom, so they have to share one with others. Wasn’t an issue for us as one of the bathrooms is standalone, so access was not difficult. Just an FYI.

Overall, we had a great experience at this airbnb! Super easy check-in process, and the house was nicely decorated. It’s full of charm! The beds were all super comfortable. The location is great - very close to Main St. and the H-E-B!

A few things to be aware of -

The front two bedrooms “share” a bathroom, but you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom. The second bathroom is in the back with the third bedroom. You can enter from the hallway, but it’s 1 sink and hard to share between 2 bedrooms / pretty far from the front bedroom. It’s fine for a family but would be tough for multiple couples.

There is no ice maker in the house, so if you need ice, head over to the H-E-B!

There were a few unwanted critters (large spiders and cockroaches)! The weather stripping on the side door could be replaced since they are most likely coming in the house through those gaps.

Lastly, the front room did not seem to get great airflow at night, so a lighter blanket or quilt in the summer would be a nice option as opposed to the heavy duvet!

We had a lovely time at this home. The hot tub was very nice to use at night. Don’t be scared by the basement that isn’t advertise we did contact host and they simply use it for storage. The doors don’t latch very well in the rooms but the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is very spacious.

Good location, spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and upscale linens. Communication was very good. Large, well appointed kitchen. Just one thing I would have liked to have known, is that 2 bedrooms share one bathroom and you have to walk through the other bedroom to get to it. If it’s family, no problem, but with couples it could be awkward. Overall a very good experience.

The beds were super comfortable. The space was very large and comfortable. Close to all the fun in town. The house is super well designed and appointed and looked just like the pictures. An updated old home with a lot of charm. We had a fun game night in. Then soaked our feet in the hot tub after a long day at wineries and walking main street.

We loved our stay. It was close to Main Street, a good 10-15 minute walk to the busy part of Main Street. All the beds were super comfy king sized beds. The neighborhood was quaint and we saw lots of people walking during our stay. Lastly, the hot tub was the perfect way to end each night. The only complaints are the room closest to the street does hear the 18 wheelers traveling thru at night so I would bring a sound machine or perhaps the hosts could offer that and I would recommend a good cleaning of the living room rug as it appeared a bit dirty. Would highly recommend this place even with the couple of one-offs. They also had a nice touch of the burning fire on the tv upon our arrival.

As well, thank you for taking to our attention about the noise in the room close to the street, and the living room cleaning situation, we would take notes to work on this.
