We LOVED our time here and it was absolutely worth the cost. It was perfect for a 3-person girls trip - plenty of room for us and even in the shared room with 2 beds, we had more room than we needed and plenty of bathroom space. If you have all couples, I would even say there was enough room to not trip over each other. The location was close enough to walk to many places and not too far for a ride if we didn't want to walk. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub out back. FYI there is no water dispenser in the refrigerator but we came prepared with bottled water, however the ice machine did work great! We got in late, so if we hadn't assumed that ahead of time we would have had to make an extra trip out. Speaking of getting in late, if you do plan to get in late plan ahead for dinner - Fredericksburg is very light on options after evening hours. We would absolutely stay again and have already discussed planning our next trip at this same place!

Overall, a good experience. Beautiful area. Saw deer in the back at night. Cozy. Better than a hotel. However, there were some definte cons. Plenty of linens and toiletries. Cons: Although it was roughly a mile from main street, it felt further. Need a car or uber to get to and from. The house is on a slope, had to be real careful parking. Stairs are very steep in the back patio. Master bedroom bed was way to tall for me. Had to jump up to get in the bed. The master bedroom did not have an en suite but the guest bedroom did. The bathroom floors were a tad slippery; had to lay down a towel so I wouldn't slip. All the bathroom shower heads had hard water stains which restricted the water flow. The paint was peeling on the deck area. Did not like the 72 degree restriction for the AC.
