Signor Vineyard

Signor Vineyard is a boutique family-owned vineyard that sits on 200 acres of stunning Texas Hill Country scenery. The garden and tasting room are impeccably designed. You’ll feel as though you’ve entered a chateau in France upon arriving here.

The garden is kid and pet-friendly but the wine tasting room is only for guests +21 years old. In addition to tastings, they also offer wine by the glass, charcuterie boards, and small bites.

Augusta Vin

Since Augusta Vin welcomed its first guest in 2019, they have been combining world-class vinos with breathtaking vineyard views. Augusta Vin offers a really large variety of wine types, including red wine, white wine, and blends. They also regularly feature live music.

If you enjoy your visit to August Vin, they offer 3 different wine club options. Along with quarterly shipped wine straight to your door at home, you also get a variety of specials and offers exclusive to wine club members.

This vineyard is strictly +21 and only allows service animals to visit.

Becker Vineyard

The Becker family established Becker Vineyard in 1992 after moving from San Antonio, with their first grape harvest in 1995. Since then, their vineyard has continued to grow and improve. While the grounds have expanded over time, the original house is a 19th-century German stone barn reproduction.

In addition to the vineyards, they also have lavender fields, wildflower fields, and an antique windmill. This combined with the Texas High Plains makes the view seriously stunning from their outdoor seating.

They also offer 3 different wine clubs: Red Premier Wine Club, Becker Wine Club, and White Wines Club. By being a member of these clubs, you’ll receive a variety of wines per shipment so you can enjoy a glass of wine from Becker Vineyard anytime you want.

They also have a Main Street location.

Grape Creek Vineyards

Grape Creek Vineyards is the oldest winery on Highway 290. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a piece of Texas wine region history. While you can opt for a classic wine tasting to try the incredible wines Grape Creek crafts or you can take a full tour to see the full winemaking production.

More baked goods await at Twisted Sisters! Whether you’re after something sweet or savory, you’ll have plenty of options here. Items are baked fresh daily and are seriously delicious. If you want to grab a variety of items to bring back to your rental home, here you’ll have the biggest selection.

If, though, you want to take advantage of their outdoor seating and sit down for your breakfast, they do have a few menu items apart from the baked goods that you can choose between. For a quick Fredericksburg breakfast, this is a great choice.

Another similar option but with the focus on donuts is nearby Hill Country Donuts & Kolaches, located at 605 E Main St.

What to Know about Trade Days

Taking place each month, on the weekend of the third Saturday, Fredericksburg Trade Days is a shopping experience like no other. Similar to a flea market but on a much larger scale, here you can find acres of antiques and unique treasures.

This recurring event is found at 355 Sunday Farms Lane across from Wildseed Farms and close to countless other adventures, including local wineries, Enchanted Rock, lavender trails, and the Pedernales River.
